The buyer problem: professional work is rarely in one file
An audit or compliance assignment may begin with an Excel workbook, then move through client schedules, financial statements, invoices, prior-year work and a question about a Nepal provision. During busy periods, junior staff gather material while managers need to understand what was checked, what is missing and why a conclusion was reached. A useful workspace does more than summarize files: it keeps the engagement context close to the evidence so a reviewer can retrace the work.
