An Act Made to Amend and Consolidate Laws Relating to Securities

Preamble:  Whereas it is expedient to update the laws relating to securities by amending and consolidating such laws in order to regulate and manage the activities of the securities markets and persons involved in the business of dealing in securities by regulating the issuance, purchase, and sale and exchange of securities for the purpose of protecting the interests of investors in securities, by developing the capital market to mobilise necessary capital for the economic development of the country,

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the House of Representatives in the First Year of the issuance of the Proclamation of the House of Representatives, 2006.
